Food / animal feed

For several years now, the words “sustainability,” “added value” and “vertical integration” have been buzzwords in the corporate world. Today, we are proud of the realization of the new food production facility “Swiss NutriFine AG,” which is adopting these approaches entirely and is currently in phased commissioning.

The company is now responsible for its own production of animal food fats and proteins suitable for human consumption, as well as for the expansion of its related international sales activities. The value chains will thus be extended in future and new marketable and edible products will be produced at this site using the latest technologies. The existing activities of Swiss Feedvalor AG, i.e. in particular the distribution of animal feedstuffs or animal proteins to the target markets of pet food or agriculture as well as the provision of processed animal by-products for the fertiliser sector, are fully integrated.

Food

In new, modern production facilities, we process the edible animal fats collected by our central logistics department in Switzerland. The resulting by-products are processed into high-quality proteins and create potential for new international markets.

Animal feed

We will continue to strive for the best possible marketing of food-grade animal fats in Switzerland. Customer-specific recipes are mixed in the Group’s own processing facilities in accordance with the most stringent quality standards. The product portfolio includes sterile fats as well as refining products. Our animal feed range is rounded off by category 3 animal import fats (mixed fat sterile). This product portfolio allows us to offer the right products (refined or sterilised) to meet needs and specific customer requirements.

Pet food

Selected category 3 animal by-products are collected throughout Switzerland and sold to the pet food industry as high-quality components. The key feature of these products is their "Swissness" – i.e. the specialised way of keeping animals and the high degree of animal welfare in Switzerland.
